    It is with a heavy hear that I bring you such sad news.I know that many of you will have heard already that John has died,peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer.He would be overwhelmed by all your wonderful messages,so thank you all.

    I’d like to thank each and every one of you who has posted such lovely thoughts and words of support, and for all the love shown for John. It has been overwhelming and it’s a great comfort to know he will never be forgotten.

    The saddest news of all today.The death of Archie Lyndhurst,just starting out on his chosen career in acting. My heart aches for Nick and Lucy.They could not have loved him more.
