    Spotted this patch on one of the officers at this morning’s presser. Google tells me this is a motto popular among police, a fuller version of which is “I may walk among the sheep, but make no mistake, I am the sheepdog.” The sheep being civilians, presumably.

    But this one's the clincher. The woman on the left has three arms!! Looks very much like the campaign used AI to generate these. The tech still isn't perfect, it seems.

    When Umar Zameer was granted bail, the most powerful politicians in this city used their positions to criticize the decision. Premier Ford posted a message saying it was “unacceptable that the the person responsible for this heinous crime is now out on bail.”

    Classic TO scene. Brand new University bike lanes, built by the city at some expense, wholly occupied by what appears to be a city contracted truck forcing riders into busy traffic. The guy behind the wheel was on his phone, of course. You’d almost be disappointed if be wasn’t.

    I'm grateful for all the people sharing personal stories today. But I don't think I'll ever not be shocked by how successfully a giant telecom has been able to slap its brand on, and profit from, public conversations about mental health.
