    Blake Martinez's first season with Giants: 151 tackles (3rd in NFL) 3.0 sacks 6 QB hits 9 Tackles for loss 1 INT 5 Passes defended 2 Forced fumbles 1 Fumble recovery Really good free agent acquisition. Filled a massive hole. Solidified middle of their defense.

    Giants middle linebacker Blake Martinez has a torn ACL, per sources. He will miss the remainder of the season. Martinez's streak of 140+ tackles in four straight years ends. A huge loss for the Giants. Martinez was the defensive signal-caller and a captain.
