    I urge media to delete all published images of Penny Wong’s new house. High profile politicians face genuine security considerations for themselves and their families. Responsible media should respect those safety considerations in any reporting of the issues.

    This call is neither necessary nor appropriate. Julian Assange was not wrongfully detained like Cheng Lei, Sean Turnell or Kylie Moore-Gilbert. For 12 years Assange chose to avoid facing justice in countries with fair judicial systems. He is underserving of this treatment.

    The disgrace is this statement, attacking both Australia & Israel. We are two democracies. We respect rights & diversity that supporters of Hamas, like Iran, oppress & punish. The Greens should unequivocally condemn Hamas & support their removal from any position of power.
