Bothell Fire is on the way to Southern California to support efforts in combating the ongoing wildfires. Five of our members—LT John Deaver, LT Jeff Salatino, LDO Bryan Schulz, LDO Tyler Griffith, and LT-LDO Kyle Fleischbein—have been deployed and assigned to the Palisades Fire.

- The Bothell Fire crew is assisting with critical operations in the fight against the #PalisadesFire. Their efforts are focused on protecting structures and supporting the firefighting mission alongside many other teams.
- Meet our newest addition to the team. This Corgi has been selected to serve on our highly specialized Technical Rescue Team. Corgis’ bodies are close to the ground & exhibit strong herding instincts making them adept at confined space rescues. #AprilFools2022
- Two officers are down after pursuit in Bothell. At least one patient has been transported to area hospital, conditions are unknown. Additional updates to follow.
- Bothell Firefighter, Kelly Melton, is off to Romania for two weeks with Mobile Medics International to provide aid and assistance to Ukrainian refugees. She’ll be serving as the Clinic Coordinator helping to organize the flow. Her compassion inspires us all.

- Crews, as part of the Wildland Mobilization Team, respond to the #BoltCreekFire. The fire is currently 2% contained. Firefighters from across the region are providing structure protection and building fire lines to protect communities and infrastructure.

- Level 3 evacuation is in place ONLY for those north of US 2 from Skykomish to Index. Crews have been receiving questions about the evacuation notice due to the Bolt Creek Fire. Bothell DOES NOT need to evacuate. Please take extra caution during the dry, hot, and smoky weather.UPDATE: **Level-III: MANDATORY Evacuation** The wildfire has now reached DNR Level III. Anyone from Skykomish to Index, north of Hwy 2 needs to evacuate immediately. Call 911 if you need assistance. Updates will be provided as they become available.
