John Gagliardi beat St Thomas 17 of 19 times from 1991-2009. When St Thomas got sick of losing, they invested heavily in their program and got really good. When St Olaf got sick of losing, they led the charge to kick St Thomas out of the conference.

- The Ivy League cancelled fall sports. Carleton cancelled fall sports, because they think they are an Ivy League school. I expect St Olaf to cancel fall sports soon, because they think they are Carleton. Luckily, no one wants to be like St Olaf, so the domino effect will stop.
- My wife drove past the Yellow House in route to Coborn's and saw students having a bonfire in the blizzard. So she picked up some S'mores fixings and dropped them off. Further proof that John Gagliardi was correct in saying that no one outpunted his coverage more than me.
- First exam in the intro accounting course. Reasonable or too harsh? @TheBig4Tweets
- The potentially armed suspect is still at large in the woods. My house has woods that are kind of connected to the Saint John's woods. If he shows up in my backyard, we are going to have a long talk and get him enrolled at SJU in our accounting program. It may be his only hope.
- My football career ended 25 years ago, also with a heartbreaking 3 point loss in the national semi's. Although you never quite get over it, you'll spend a lot more time looking back at all the fun you had along the way. Congrats to the Johnnies on one hell of a season.
- I just read that Kwik Trip’s revenue is up $1 billion and they are now the 29th largest private company in America. Pretty sure most of that growth came in Saint Joe thanks to Bennies and Johnnies.

- Sorry, when I think of undefeated championship teams, I think of the four times John Gagliardi went undefeated in the regular season and playoffs and won the national championship. I don’t think of the Tommies’ 2010 team which lost to Bethel in the playoffs.
- I found the Saint Thomas trophy case with all their football national championships!
