- Christopher Reynolds! Holy Mackerel. Down goes 1st place Marshall. Watershed moment for Charlotte 49ers in, fittingly, the rain.
- I don’t have a crystal ball but something tells me, come 2021, too-short Jack Reynolds is going to get zero offers, walk on, start out 5th string and end up a starter. Would that sound familiar?
- Has any War Eagle in 63 years had three interceptions in one game? I can definitely name one, sophomore Kristian Lyons.
- Chris Reynolds' prep career is not quite over. He's been added to the NC squad for the Shrine Bowl. Icing to the cake.
- RIP Maxie Melton. One of my best friends, one of the funniest people you could ever meet. Cards will never be the same. Riding to Davie football games will never be the same.

- Coy James (.424) has Davie baseball's highest average in 10 years (Corey Randall .506 in 2012) and the most doubles (11) in 29 years. Bubba Coleman had 11 doubles in 1993.
