I was trying to think of a British musical legend that absolutely everyone loves and nobody could possibly dislike or have beef with.

What’s the most “Dad album” you were brought up on? I’m going to say Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits. My Dad played this album a lot when I was a kid. It came out when I was 6 years old. #dadalbums
On this day 25 years ago the Britpop national anthem “Common People” by Pulp was released. This was a massive moment in the Britpop story, and the song rightly continues to be adored and held in high esteem.

30 years ago today Blur released their first Britpop album "Modern Life Is Rubbish". It would become the first in a run of 3 albums called the "Life Trilogy".
