Today, an arrest warrant was executed for a violent felon in NW Harris County. During the warrant service, the subject took off on foot. After running a short distance, he managed to get into a car and drive off. HCSO air support located the car in the driveway of a nearby home.

Yesterday, deputies from @HCSO_D1Patrol and @HCSO_K9 responded to an abduction/kidnapping where a former employee was holding a superior captive in a moving vehicle. The vehicle was located near the Beltway and West Bellfort. A traffic stop was conducted and K9 was deployed.

The @HCSOTexas Bomb Unit hosted an Explosives Awareness Course at the HCSO Academy. The training even included officers from @Pct1Constable and @LeagueCityPD. The focus of the course is to become familiar with explosives and how to safely respond to incidents involving them.💥

The suspect taken into custody today was wanted for Felony Theft out of Fort Bend County. He also made threats to “shoot it out” with law enforcement if they tried to arrest him. After setting up a perimeter and letting our crisis negotiators talk to him, he surrendered
