Last March, Head Coach Tim McElligott earned his 100th career victory as the head coach of the BSHS Wildcat Baseball program. His 108 wins are the second most in BSHS history. Today, the team celebrated Coach McElligott before our season begins on Friday. Congratulations, Coach!

Finally, congratulations to Cole Gibler on being named BSHS’s first “MHSBCA Player of the Year” since Nick Tepesch won the award back in 2007. Cole was certainly more than deserving after he carried an OPS over .900 at the plate and struck out 106 batters in 57.2 IP on the mound.

Our season ended today in a 4-5 loss to Nixa in the state quarterfinal. The boys finished their season 24-15 with the school’s first district title since 2007. The coaches would like to thank our seniors for four years of hard work. You’ve set the bar high.

Some individual highlights from today: - Jackson Trueblood: 2-2, 2B - Nick Gibler: 2-3 - Lincoln Stephenson: 2 IP, 0 R, 4 K Also, Lincoln Stephenson set the school record for games played in a career with 112, surpassing 2018 grad Jake Lufft. Congrats, Lincoln!
