Hockey exec, author, proud dad, and advocate for inclusion in sports. Yes, I know my tie is not tied.
- This decision has stripped clubs of a powerful community outreach tool and removed meaningful support for Special Initiatives, all to protect a select few who do not want to answer any questions about their choices. I hope the NHL reconsiders in order to remain a leader in DEI.
- Today marks ten years since losing my son Brendan (pictured at right with my son Patrick on the left) and we miss him every single day. Love you B and the legacy you left behind for LGBTQ+ people in sports ❤️
- Proud to march this weekend in Pittsburgh in my son Brendan’s memory and in support of my LGBTQIA friends. Hope to see you there! 🏳️🌈
- The Sedins played 2600 NHL games and never complained. My kids, on the other hand...Fun fact: my dad left our birthday celebrations to make this trade and at the time I said something like “how will you remember this decision.” Fondly, it turns out. Hall of fame return on investment.
