- A credentialed member of the press being arrested by a state trooper for covering a developing story on a state university campus. Nothing suspicious about this at all.This man says he is a member of the press. An officer said his camera hit an officer. The man claims it was not on purpose. @KXAN_News

- Waiting period between registering to vote in Texas to being able to vote: 30 days. Waiting period between purchasing a gun and using that gun: 0 days. Please register to vote by October 10 in order to vote in local elections in Texas.
- Some voters are still at the polls, but it’s looking like more people voted today in Harris County (>128,000) than on the first day of Early Voting in the ENTIRE STATE OF GEORGIA. Kind of a big deal. cc: @HarrisVotes
