    The YMCA became gender-inclusive in the 1970s. Today, most members are women. A majority of volunteers & all 6 senior executives are female. It can be described as a female-oriented organization. Meanwhile, the YWCA? Still strictly female and its mission is female empowerment.

    Please don’t apologize. Winston Churchill, like all of us, had serious human failings. But unlike most of us—he possessed genuine greatness. And that greatness may have saved freedom & democracy. Ask the Twitter scolds to name a hero or heroine who didn’t have serious flaws.

    The violence tonight is not about George Floyd.Growing numbers of young Americans have been taught to think of US as an evil empire—a white-supremacist, patriarchal hellscape.The part about the US being the best hope for humankind—a deeply flawed but noble democracy—not taught.

    For every white male dollar: - Asian American women earn 87 cents - White women earn 79 cents - Black women earn 63 cents - Native American women earn 58 cents - Latina women earn 54 cents Pay equity among men and women workers should be established by LAW.

    The DC monument the mob intends to destroy was paid for by donations from emancipated African-Americans in 1876. Frederick Douglass spoke at the unveiling. In 1974, it was rotated to face a memorial honoring celebrated black educator Mary McLeod Bethune.

    Gaza is occupied by Hamas, not Israel. Hamas is funded by Iran and works against the interest of Palestinians. It terrorizes the Gaza population and shoots rockets into civilian areas of Israel. You seem to be an apologist for Hamas. Hope I’m wrong. #SaveGazaFromHamas
