- Recruiting Tip for players trying to get recruited: Don’t bad mouth your former coaches with the intentions of trying to impress a potential coach. I promise you this is a MAJOR red flag! 🚩
- Basketball thought of the day: Great teams don’t take bad shots! Basketball isn’t a equal opportunity sport! Player A’s wide open shot may be a worst shot then Player B’s lightly contested shot! Understand your role and strengths. This leads to WINNING!💡
- Recruits, I highly respect the hustle and determination to try and get exposure with DM’s, Highlight tapes, Emails, etc. However, if you send me a TikTok with the intentions of trying to get recruited, their is a 0 percent chance you will ever be taken serious by me.
- I’ve seen 3 different AAU teams make congratulation graphic design tweets for the same kid. What’s the criteria for claiming a player? One tournament, one game, one practice, or one season? Honest question! (No Shade intended)
- Reached a major milestone in my life today! As a father of 2, a husband, & a coach with multiple hustles. I can say confidently that getting my Masters Degree in the midst of it all is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life! Breaking old cycles & setting new standards! 🙏🏽
