Makes sense drivers don’t want to pay a $100 fine. Why not interview a few bus riders to see if they wanted the bus to move faster? Shouldn’t be too hard - there are more than 300,000 daily boardings on Metrobuses.

Congrats to DC’s newest ANC, Joel Caston, who was sworn-in this evening at DC Jail by Judge Milton Lee. Commissioner Caston is the first to hold the seat in 20+ years, and the first incarcerated resident ever elected to public office in DC. Thank you for serving your community!

Big news: DC's e-bike rebate is here! Residents who want to own an e-bike can apply for a voucher to cover $1k to $2k toward the cost. Application opens April 1, prioritizing residents in SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid. Must buy from a participating shop in DC. ddot.dc.gov/ebikes

Hi there. Thanks for highlighting. In US cities where the voting age is 16, turnout of registered voters 16+17 has been as high as 48% - much higher than other age groups. They share the same concerns as older voters around gun violence, schools, affordable housing, and more. /1
