- All in Our Club are deeply shocked saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Red Óg Murphy. Our sympathy goes to his family, relatives and friends and @currygaaclub & @DCU at this difficult and challenging time. An inspiration to so many players. Ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

00:00 - The club are mourning today the loss of Patron Sean Sweeney. Coolera/Strandhill and Sligo GAA were Sean's passions. His name was known all around the country from Markievicz Park to Croke Park. Seanie will be missed by all. May he rest in Peace.

- Its with great sadness we have learned of the passing of club President Peter Cooney. Peter was Mr. Coolera for over 40 years. His field was the pitch, his shed was the dressing rooms. Lining pitches or collecting players Peter was there. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.
