🚨DTLA CLOSURE ALERT🚨 I-10 will be FULLY CLOSED until further notice between the East LA Connector & Alameda St due to a fire that damaged the freeway. Avoids the area, expect major delays & seek alternate routes to events in #DTLA or use @metrolosangeles public transportation.

Interstate 10 is closed in both directions in downtown LA between Alameda St. & East LA interchange. Caltrans is assessing damage from a fire under I-10 & will reopen I-10 as soon as possible. In the meantime, use other routes! Here’s a peek under the freeway.

❄️ANTELOPE VALLEY❄️ A 20-mile stretch of SR-14 is fully CLOSED between Sand Canyon Rd and Ave. S. Crews are currently clearing lanes near Angeles Forest Hwy. Unknown duration. DO NOT ATTEMPT using canyon roads as alternates and limit travel.

Wow! Great drone footage by @KTLA! Shows the large amount of work our crews had to deal with over the past couple of days and the ice on the road that needed to melt from last night’s freezing temps.

*State Route 33 in Los Padres National Forest* SR-33 remains closed from north of Matilija Hot Springs Rd. to Lockwood Valley Rd. north of Ojai. Rock slides & erosion from this storm are adding to extensive damage from January storms. Video below shows a rock slide from Feb. 25:

NOW OPEN ✅ I-5 through #TejonPass has reopened to traffic. Drive cautiously - maintenance and emergency crews are still at work. Thanks for your patience as our crews worked overnight to remove snow and A LOT of ice. And thank you, Sun ☀️, for helping melt ice this AM.

#TejonPass UPDATE: Crews are dealing with snow along an approximately 20-mile stretch of I-5, with the snow line going as south as Templin Hwy, near Castaic. Over a foot of snow has fallen at some of the corridor’s highest elevations. No estimated time of reopening.

Not a cloud in the sky, and the forecast is looking good through the weekend. We’ll continue to monitor for icy conditions, but this round of the I-5 ❄️Operation Snowflake❄️ is officially over! Thank you to the maintenance crews and emergency responders for all your work!

This amazing aerial video shows one of the many reasons State Route 33 is closed in both directions from Lomita Ave. in Ojai to the Ozena Fire Station (just south of Lockwood Valley Road) in Los Padres Nat'l Forest. Closed until further notice to repair substantial storm damage.
