- It was one of the first times I ever scored a backstage pass. I wandered into Black Sabbath’s dressing room with my tape recorder and a copy of our local underground paper, the San Diego Door, and asked Ozzy Osbourne for this interview. 1/2

- Replying to @CameronCroweHe was 24, I was 15. He was talkative and fun and ended our chat with a poignant comment about his own future.
- The famous words rang out: “Elvis has left the building.” It was 1970. Elvis had been on stage 47 minutes. A riveting & deeply goofy performance filled with karate moves. My mom & I drove home from my first concert in stunned silence. #TheUncool BONUS: Rare footage of the show.

- “Fast Times” brought the ache, mayhem & magic of real-life high school to theaters across the country. It felt immediate, vulnerable, & universal. Post premiere, it grew legs through word of mouth. The tears, laughter, checkerboard Vans would live on. #IKnowThatDude #TheUncool
