    This is the day we enter the conclave and I’m about to go into the Domus Sanctae Marthae, named after St. Martha, who took care of hospitality for Jesus. We leave here and go over to the Sistine Chapel every day for prayers and voting, but this is where we reside. I won’t be able

    I just went next door to our own beloved Cathedral, Saint Patrick’s, to ask the intercession of Notre Dame, our Lady, for the Cathedral at the heart of Paris, and of civilization, now in flames! God preserve this splendid house of prayer, and protect those battling the blaze.

    Sunday morning in Rome is always quiet and empty, but it’s different today. There’s a great sense of the Church Universal. I’m sitting on the steps of the back door of St. Mary Major, where we’re hoping to come in and pray in front of Pope Francis’ tomb. @thegnewsroom

    Morning everybody! Still here in Rome. It happens to be the feast of St. Damien of Molokaʻi, a dedicated missionary. So was Robert Francis Prevost! Our beloved Pope Francis spoke of us as joyful missionary disciples. We rejoice in St. Damien and Pope Leo, two great missionaries!
