- Replying to @0kElysyum and @cyb3rsaltFanfic can be profound and on the level of “actual literature” though. Dante’s Inferno is just Bible fanfic. A fanfic of The Thing won a Hugo award. Fanfic isn’t inherently worse than “actual literature.” Fanfic IS actual literature.
