I thought twice about sharing this but it good news for me and my family. After 15 years my little brother was released from Prison today. He was 24 when was sentenced. Then he was mixed up kid with a heavy drug problem that lead him to making very bad decisions.

I never tell people what words to say, I’m not the speech police. But I have daughter with DS and I admit I’m biases when I comes to her. The word “retard” is offense in th DS community.We are trying hard to teach people to see our kids as Individuals and not a name.
