If wealthy, highly visible women in news and entertainment are sexually harassed, assaulted and raped -- what do we think is happening to women in retail, food service and domestic work?

I’m convinced that you really love Black women. You consistently dress us in such beautiful garments.

Black women are not political mules to be used every time a mediocre white candidate needs to win. No amount of verbal appreciation will do us justice. Turn over the money, resources and power, then we can talk.

If anyone wore a Black Lives Matter hat, and committed any sort of violence -- the entire movement and all Black people would be blamed. A 45 supporter commits a mass act of violence, wore a MAGA hat and it's crickets.

Folks, don't flush paper towels. Don't microwave aluminum foil. 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Wash your hands.

Hi Folks, I was told directly by Black organizers in Minneapolis: Unless you are coming offer specific skills that are needed, please don't ride to Minneapolis.

BREAKING: Illinois governor issues pardons to over 11K people w/ low-level marijuana convictions. As Illinois prepares to legalize marijuana, addressing the fallout of criminalization on Black and brown communities is a critical step in this process. apnews.com/2536e69f5b4a6d…

A coup doesn't have to be successful in order for it to be a damn coup.

I will always go back to the fact that Toni Morrison wrote for Black people, for Black women -- not for white folks. It is possible to speak to our people and still reach the world. I am thankful for her life and the genius she shared with us all. May she rest well.

Gosh. This is amazing. And a I'm not being sarcastic. I have to be honest and say that I'm a bit taken aback (and a bit hurt) that those of us who were in the streets in the past five years for Black lives didn't receive this type of reception or public support.

George and Amal, I couldn’t agree with you more. I am joining forces with you and will match your $500,000 donation to ‘March For Our Lives.’ These inspiring young people remind me of the Freedom Riders of the 60s who also said we’ve had ENOUGH and our voices will be heard.

Erica Garner's life matters because she's a human being. Her value isn't in what she's done for any movement.

    Replying to @CharleneCac
Trust Black women enough to donate to our campaigns, support our organizations and get out the way so we can win.

White folks tweeting about the unfair treatment of Serena Williams, remember that the next time you report your Black woman co-worker. What happened to Serena happens to Black women in the workplace everyday.
