    9am this morning at si ferry . I’m working to secure additional covid testing kits for my office to distribute. On a brighter note, Santa came by the office for his covid test. The results came back negative. He’ll be in full action tomorrow unless you were on the naughty list

    The city needs to do a better job when it comes to maintaining the city’s catch basins and infrastructure during heavy rain. Many homes and businesses in my district were damaged due to flooding from Hurricane Ida. We are seeing similar concerns relating to flooding today. 1/2

    We organized a cleanup this morning & discovered a number of open syringe needles. We suspended the cleanup & requested the city to address this issue. This is a reminder of the drug issues that continue to plague our communities. If you know someone that has a drug issue 1/2.

    If the community can provide proposals on how they would like to see reforms within their police departments, the community should be able to do the same when it comes to #ThePeoplesBudget. We appreciate the crumbs but we need a piece of the cake on #StatenIsland. Now, not later.
