Replying to @CharlestonVotesReminders: • S.C. does not register voters by party. • Voting in one party’s primary does not tie a voter to that party in the General Election. HOWEVER, voters who participate in a party’s primary and want to vote in a runoff election must continue with the same party.• Citizens who did not vote in either primary, but who were eligible to participate, may choose to vote in one party’s runoff.
