- Someone asked me yesterday if I worry people will read my romance novels and make assumptions about my own sex life. All I can say is if that's how you're reading books, you should probably check Stephen King's basement before you wonder about my bedroom.

- Anti-abortion folks like to talk about how gruesome abortion is, how visceral and violent, but this is actually one of the most ghoulish, inhumane things I can imagine a person saying.Laura Strietmann, Cincinnati Right to Life leader, on the 10-year-old girl who was raped and went to Indiana for an abortion: "While a pregnancy might have been difficult on a 10-year-old body, a woman's body is designed to carry life." OH State Rep. Miranda (D) shuts her down.
