    The far right and racist violence seen across the country in the past few days is intolerable & antithetical to the message of Jesus to love our neighbours & care for the vulnerable. We stand in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters especially. Lord have mercy.

    Frank Field was someone whose Christian faith & principles drove his politics, particularly his commitment to the poorest in society; inspired by his vision of the kingdom of God, he did not let ideology get in the way of a politics that helps those who need it most. May he RIP.
