00:00 - my stance on MAID is that if killing yourself becomes a norm and not a tragedy, for people who are perceived to be a burden, it will become an obligation and there is no number of checks and balances that will prevent that
- when I used to mentor autistic teenagers, they would say "people don't like me because I'm smart" and when I asked them "Do you think that telling people that you think you should be allowed to eat your pets once they die had anything to do with it?" they'd say "of course not"Converts are annoying because we did the reading.
