- HERE IS MY ALL CAPS STATEMENT: YOU CANNOT SERIOUSLY BE CUTTING FUNDING FROM THE REIGNING OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS 5 MONTHS BEFORE A WORLD CUP WHEN YOU SPENT $11,000 ON SUITS BEFORE THE MEN'S WC. THEY ARE THE REIGNING OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS THIS ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE.
- If Messi and Mbappé and Neymar and Modric and Kane and Haaland and…all tore their ACLs within a year or two of each other, FIFA would open a research centre in the Alps with unlimited funding instead of continuing to treat women’s soccer as an annoyance and an afterthought.
- This match is an embarrassment for CONMEBOL. An absolute embarrassment.
- I’m exhausted. I just spent 12 hrs basically trying to do primary care out of an ER for people who have no family doctor and therefore no access to the healthcare system outside of the ER. This is unsafe, unfair, and incredibly expensive primary care. The system is broken.

- The USWNT displayed poor sportsmanship excessively celebrating many of the 13 goals against a 34th ranked team. It has nothing to do with the final score. You are one of the best teams in the world. Act like it. And yeah, I definitely would have said the same about a men’s team.
- Why is Rugby 7s only 14 minutes long. It’s fantastic.
- The fix is on. I understand that refereeing is hard, but there are some baseline competencies not being met here. It requires effort to be this bad.
- I refuse to do any further colour commentary unless Alphonso Davies does the play-by-play
- I have lived through some poor refereeing in my day, including one game where I received two yellow cards and didn’t get sent off, but this is a new level of garbage
