    It is with a heavy heart that we give you the sad news of the untimely passing of Podge Hughes this morning. A giant of a man in every way, Podge will be sorely missed by all. I’m sure you will join me in extending our deepest condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. Podge.

    It is with great sadness that today we learnt of the passing of Brian Whelan. Brian was a great supporter of both Clontarf Cricket and Old Belvedere Rugby clubs and a regular of both clubs. Our thoughts and prayers are with Hugo and with the entire Whelan family and friends. RIP
