The current administration in Washington, the current leadership of the Congress, and a majority of the Supreme Court seem to be hellbent on turning the clock back.If reelected, I promise to fight against the forces of retrogression, continue standing up for the values and interests that matter most to all South Carolinians, and continue our pursuit towards a more perfect Union.

- The maps that were defeated in the legislature this week were cooked up by some people in Trump’s White House. The meeting presenting the maps to Republican legislators lasted 7 minutes and 30 seconds. No questions were allowed.

A critical number of Republicans did not believe in putting a man over the law.Today, members of the South Carolina State Senate stood up for the constitutional principles that they say they believe in.
