    In 26 years of coaching there is/are two statements I have NEVER heard. “I wish I would not have played football” or “I wish I would have quit playing football.” It is not about the game itself but more importantly about the STUFF you gain trusting in the process.

    Exciting times in Smithville, MO! Breaking ground soon on 8100 square foot Performance and Mobility Activity Center. Will be an amazing facility for over 500 students enrolled in the Warrior Strength Program. So blessed!

    Not quite finished yet. Getting closer. Pictures DO NOT DO THIS BEAUTIFUL PLAYGROUND JUSTICE! Lots left to do. Open House in a week! Roll out the thank you’s at that time. Yea for OUR kids and OUR community! GO WARRIORS!

    It is OFF week. Be a KID! Play tennis, ride bikes around the lake, swim, go fishing, have a wiffle ball or washers tourney in the yard. Cruise the loop with your friends! What? No phones, go Old School! Hang Together! Get out the house. Summers are for memories. Make yours!

    Football coaches don’t wear flip flops inside the white lines! Ever! Nor do football players. Inside those whites is hallowed ground! That is my opinion! You feel differently? Fine!

    Come play at William Jewell College. College football is about getting on the field and competing. Levels do not matter. Playing does! And so does getting your degree.

    Didn’t finish like we had planned. But at a time when WE ALL NEEDED EACH OTHER, we got that chance! It was BETTER than what we could have hoped for! Why? Because of HOW we did it! Blessed beyond belief! MORE TO DO! GET BETTER, NOT JUST OLDER. GO WARRIORS!
