    Unpopular opinion : Travel Baseball at 6u-12u is a BUSINESS model , Not a BASEBALL model! Absolutely a crime ! Spare me the “ It’s better competition “ BS!

    This morning I have spoken with 17 College Coaches . There needs to be a clear understanding by families/athletes that the pathway to college in no longer VIA travel baseball. HS athletes cannot compete with talent/skill/size of portal athletes. HS athletes must now give strong

    I will be joining the cause to begin to bring @legionbaseball and Junior Legion Baseball back in this country. It’s time for teen age athletes to have a strong alternative. Playing the game for community and country ! The time has come to make this happen in parts of the country

    This is just my opinion, The slow demise of Little League baseball is heart breaking! Travel Baseball at 6u-12u a rip off!!! Little League is about learning the game with friends, developing a passion for baseball! Local LL has gone for 12 teams to 2! KIDS play @LittleLeague

    I sound like a broken record, I understand, Parents, your son does not NEED fall baseball for “ exposure “ at 10-15 yrs of age. Pitching twice in a weekend for “ college exposure “ is a lie! Play other sports, find a strength coach/program! Young man at 14 throwing 112 on Fri and

    8th grader asked to pitch in a middle school game , which was tied 3-3,athlete turns to his parent , who tells Coach -“ He has to pitch tomorrow for travel team-bigger game !” All I can say is we are robbing kids of the joy of youth and friendships! Ahh yes “ CAPITALISM “ #weak

    Dear Parents of 6-12 yr old baseball players,NOTHING that your son does on a baseball field at those ages has anything to do with recruiting, his playing opportunities in HS or what his skill sets will become!Little boys grow up, the foundation that is needed is LOVE OF THE GAME!

    A very long time ago, when I was 15, my Dad gave me a piece of advice “ When a Coach is getting on you, riding your rear end like a rented mule, never WORRY about the tone/volume , FOCUS on the message! If you did not have the ability he would not be talking to you!” #LifeLesson
