- No coincidence that Michael Jordan won the 1st of 6 NBA Championships the year he started the breakfast club. The breakfast club lifted every morning before practices, even on game days and even on playoff game days.
- A friend of mine is an assistant coach in SC. With playoffs this week, they will get paid a percentage of the coaching supplement + extra days of pay for as long as they advance. His regular supplement before playoff bonus was already 4X what I make coaching. NC needs to improve.
- Congrats to a good friend of mine who will be starting a new OC job in SC! Right at $12,000.00 for coaching football + added contract days + higher teacher pay. He will also have probably 8-10 paid assistants on staff to help him on the offensive side of the ball.
- I miss coaching football on Friday nights. 🤦🏼♂️
- I was told when I started coaching that if you can coach the OL, you can coach anything. My experience coaching OL has definitely helped me in my career. - I never thought that being a coach that builds positive relationships with the players I coach, earning the trust of parents, and helping players reach their ultimate goals would be viewed as a strike against me. My mind is officially blown 🤯 but I don’t plan to change who I am.
