- Coaches don't trust their own eyes. They wait for a scout to write a tweet about a kid they've seen once. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks, trust your eyes and a close confidant or two #LivePeriodThoughts
- Always fun when AAU teams post about a kids offer that they had nothing to do with. Tis the season for bamboozling! Time to put up or shut up for a lot of riff raff that's come around.
- This doesn't happen without this TEAM and STAFF being great! So grateful for the opportunity to coach these guys and coach alongside @bbcoachrap @GareyTrey and @blainewright3 . - My son tonight goes "Dad, we didn't play good tonight." So I said, No we didn't son you're right. He replied, "That's okay dad you'll figure it out, it's what you do"....I know everyone is afraid to have kids today but somehow they always seem to come through at the perfect time!
- Got a highlight tape sent to me and the players description fit what we were looking for so I take a look. In the highlight, said player made 2 3's. So you think well maybe he can step out and shoot. I go look at the stats on the year......2 3s made.....all.....year.....long
- The reason for everything! Love this not so little man. "Dad we won!"
- I asked my wife if she wanted to go to lunch tomorrow instead of dinner just because dinner time on Valentine's is crazy..... Her response was "Is there a HS game tomorrow you want to go watch?"
