    Black History Icon in Football: Jackie Robinson at UCLA in 1940 led the Bruins in passing, rushing, and scoring. 7 years later he became a civil rights icon as he integrated major league baseball. This was 8 years before the world was introduced to Martin Luther King.

    Black History Football Icon Day 3: Jack Trice (Iowa State), was the 2nd black football player at a major college. In 1923 he died after injuries in a game vs Minnesota. Teammates say he was repeatedly targeted in the game due to his skin color. The stadium is now named after him

    Athletes, You are about to ask a LOT from your body! Parents please help! For TOP Athletic Performance: 1. Make sure you eat breakfast AND at lunch everyday! 2. Make sure you get 8-10 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. (Turn off that game and phone) 3. HYDRATE ALL DAY!

    Parents and athletes, Proof is in the numbers, specializing is not in your favor. Of the 32 first round draft picks in this year's NFL draft, 29 of 32 were multisport athletes in high school! 18 of 32 ran track, 14 of 32 played basketball, 5 of 32 played baseball.

    We ARE disappointed that we won't get to advance to the playoffs. It is unfair, but COVID itself is unfair and we are not immune. We want to keep the thousands of infected people and nurses in our prayers as they fight this terrible virus, and wish luck to 9-6A in the playoffs !
