- I’ve teared up talking to the team before. Tonight was different. As I looked at their faces, all I could think, was one of them could be next. I saw #GeorgeFloyd. My heart hurt...I couldn’t breathe...I love these guys. This has to stop. We have a problem. We need change.I am only one part of the whole. I can’t do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I will do for the good of us all. We are ALL family.
- Youth coaches: the goal is to keep kids in the sport and out for it again the next year. PLEASE treat kids right. They are our future!
- Long day...I keep coming back to the fact that I wholeheartedly believe in the opportunity our program provides; we’ll surround you with great people, push you to be your best and give you the tools to maximize your potential. We’ve got something special here. @msum_football
- Life’s too short to have a bad day.
- The work is just about to get started in here...before most people are awake. Being a student-athlete is a GRIND! Help support their efforts. #MSUMGivingDay
- 25 1/2 hours after kick off yesterday we’ve arrived back home. We competed well. We finished the race. We kept the faith. #DragonPride
- Occasionally we get to choose our challenges and adversity...many times we do not.
- You can tell a lot about a person by how they handle success...celebrate with your teammates! He’s part of something bigger than himself...he’s part of the Dragon Family. #GOAT🦸♂️OUR HERO wins B-Dubs for EVERYONE!!! @AndersonTravis DRILLS the Half Court Hero and everyone in attendance gets FREE WINGS!!! That's the second one in two weeks! That gets us #FiredUp🔥🆙
00:00 - Each day you must choose. The ‘pain’ of self discipline or the ‘pain’ of regret. The first is tough in the moment; the second will haunt you much longer. #NoRegrets
- It’s not just during conditioning. It’s going to bed on time, eating right, saying no, telling the truth, HOLDING others accountable, being HELD accountable, asking questions, giving feedback, not complaining, being positive, maintaining composure. Courage doesn’t always roar!Players striving for greatness embrace the moment when their mind is telling them that it is too hard and they make the decision to act with courage and push through the discomfort. It is these moments that separate you from your competitors.
- Happy for all our ND players playing in their home state. Big win to keep the paddle…again…7x. Loved seeing all their family members there to celebrate. #701Dragons It wasn’t about the paddle. It was about the people holding it and taking pictures with it afterward. #Family
