I played D1 baseball on a team that made a regional and continues to make regionals almost every year. my head coach is still there. One thing i learned from him early is to keep our chirp game in house. Have fun, go crazy for us. Dont disrespect the opponent. Keep it with us.

True Story: former player I had from 13-16 woke up yesterday with no summer team & no college interest. Told him practice was last night at 7:30. He threw 2 innings struck out 5, I posted the video and he woke up today committed to a D3 national title contender. Twitter bro.

If you dont toe the rubber or step in the box like the baddest mfer walking Earth no matter what happened last AB or last start this ain’t the game for you.

Coaches, I don’t know which one you needs to hear this (it’s all of us btw) but this is a reminder to check in on your athletes today and remind them you love them and care more about their well being than how many hits they have this year.

Here’s a word of advice for mid major baseball teams: HIRE A SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR. live tweet every game. Film content for Instagram. Stream the games. Interview the players and coaches. Document the bus rides, let people see authenticity.
