- It literally makes me cringe when I hear kids say “No way I would play NAIA” … reality is gonna come quick to a lot of kids
- In my 4 years at UPIKE we played Louisville 3 times, Kentucky, Miss. State, Tennessee, WKU, and practiced in the Craft Center multiple times. Plus 3 years in Kansas City. It may be a “small school”, but the opportunities are a great deal bigger.
- I’m clearly no writer and this took me 3 days to find the words. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best I got. So appreciative to everybody who has taken care of me growing up in Eastern Kentucky. Love always 💙
- Playing Pikeville 3 times this year I obviously know how good they are. But man they looked even better tonight. Sometimes you just have to respect good basketball.
- High school basketball has turned into free agency
- I love coming to my parents house. I pick something up and Dad says “you can look all you want but it’s never going to your house” 😂😂😂
- I want to thank everybody for the texts, calls, & tweets. Jax is out of surgery and the doctor said everything went great. A few days of irritation and a little pain, then hopefully he’s back to normal. Everybody at UK Children’s Hospital did an amazing job! Again, thank you all!
- Right before school went out I was looking at the trophy case for boy’s basketball and I couldn’t figure out why the game ball from the 2011 district championship wasn’t in the case. I figured out why today at my mom and dad’s house 😂😂 my dad got it 😂😂😂😂

- congratulations @PikevilleBB on a great game. They are a tremendous basketball team. They will go to Lex and make some noise. I wish we could have made it a better game. Still so proud of our boys. Nobody gave us a chance to end up where we did. This is just the beginning for us
- I met coach Wells when I was 8 at his youth camp when he got hired at PC. I think 2 years later I told him I wouldn’t ever play for anybody but him if I was ever good enough. I was blessed enough to do that for 4 years. You won’t find a better man. Plz Plz pray for his family.
