    Obviously,we are disappointed that we did not make the postseason.Vernon Law wrote:“Experience is a hard teacher.She gives the test first and the lesson afterward.” We will learn from this, turn the page and become better because of it. I love this team and am very proud of them.

    This is just my opinion and I’m not speaking for other coaches. Tomorrow starts the recruiting period for the ‘23 class. It is just the start of the process and there are several different ways coaches will handle September 1st. First, it is a school night.

    I have had moments in my life that I thought could never be topped. Yesterday was another one of those moments. First time I laid eyes on my granddaughter Kylee! She opened her eyes the first time I spoke to her! So thankful for God’s blessings.

    Sept. 1st! Big day for the 2022 class! If you do not receive a call today, just remember that it has been 10 months since we have been at a ballpark to evaluate. It probably will be a slower and more methodical process until we are able to get from behind the monitor! Be patient!

    I wanted to write to give an update & sad news from here in Tulsa. My dad, Harvie passed away this afternoon at St. Francis Hospital with us by his side. Funeral arrangements are pending. However, the funeral & burial will be held in Ft. Smith, Ark on Tuesday or Wednesday.

    This next tweet is mind boggling...@CycloneSB has not played at home since May 17, 2019. The last 55 games have been away from Cyclone Sports Complex! One full season of games! BTW, on that 55 game road trip....our women are 35-20. We can’t wait to see #CyclONEnation 🚨🌪🥎🚨

    I want to take a moment to thank @DrakeSoftball for honoring #CeliaBarquinArozamena by wearing yellow ribbons and the #CBA decal on their helmets. I have know Head Coach Rich Calvert for over 20 years and he, his program and team are a class act. Thank you!
