- I love small guards. Don’t be afraid to recruit small guards. Small guards win big games every year.
- When players can hoop without worrying about getting benched for every mistake you will see how well they can hoop
- No switch drill 1) force the defender to use the screen don’t allow them to refuse it 2)use your lead foot to get through 3) don’t allow a paint touch Sometimes your best defender needs to be in position to get a stop. Don’t allow the offense to force a switch

- Juco Basketball is a lot tougher than you think. I see some hs kids saying I guess I’ll just go juco. If you’re not dominating at the hs level. You’re in for a rude awakening when you get to juco and guys are hungry & fighting for scholarships.

- If you’re a student athlete you better hang around people that are on the same mission as you not only athletically but academically. Too many distractions out here that can detour from accomplishing your goals don’t chase the fool’s gold
