    Recruits must understand there are a lot of talented ball players out there. What separates you? Academics, character, self awareness, mental toughness, hustle and having fun are extra things I look for. It's hard to get on a list, very easy to cross you off 📰

    My heart hurts to share the news that Matt Jones, former Mott pitching coach and owner of Bullpen Sports, is coaching up in heaven now. Thoughts and prayers are with his Wife, Daughter, and family. He will forever be a Bear #MB4L

    Finally in my 7th year of coaching I had a recruit call tonight and tell me that he's going to another school in such a way that he and I will have a friendship that last a lifetime. This other program just got someone to build their team around for the next four years, wow!!

    Kinsley Rae came in to this world on October 7th at 9:56am, 6lbs 4oz. Life couldn't be any better as Mother and Baby are in perfect health! Finally back home today and settled in with our precious girl #imintrouble

    Well over 50 yes votes, so here we go! A JUCO only Collegiate League starting next Summer with games held at Mott CC! The focus will be to help uncommitted JUCO players increase their exposure. All games will be streamed! Give @VehicleCityCBL a follow, more info coming soon!!

    After taking a few days to reflect on this season, many may call it a failure due to not making playoffs. Tell me if failure looks like this: 15 of our guys received offers to this date. 9 have committed, 2 are undecided, 3 are returning next year, 1 chose to end playing career

    Happy 3 yr anniversary to @KacRodriguez! This woman is my rock! I'm not sure how I got so lucky locking up this gorgeous woman for the rest of my life! Tip of the day to all, find someone that encourages you to pursue your dreams and doesn't let you stop. I'd be lost w/out her ❤

    The landscape of college baseball has big changes, even more so in the state of MI. With the new NCAA limits on roster size, scholarships, and the new community college guarantee in MI, opportunities will be much more difficult to come by. The quality of college baseball is on

    It's very easy to find negatives and flaws when that's all you look for. Flip your mindset to look for the positives, strengths, and for the good in one another. Do it for a day, do it for a week, watch what you will accomplish and how it impacts those around you #goodtogreat

    Better habits being built. Adjustments being made. Be the best team at the end of the year! Time to block out the outside noise whether it be negative or positive, and stick to the plan. Stay focused and believe in the preparation. Positive self talk and visualization! #MB4L

    Recruits & parents, go watch college games. You'll see the true side of a team and their culture. I'm proud of the squad today and how we handled adversity; we stayed true to ourselves. Control what you can control! We're never out of a game with this group! Love my guys! #MB4L
