People can talk all they want, but THIS is the single greatest season of all time! Should’ve won the Heisman! ELEVEN GAMES!!
- The world really doesn’t know how good this dude was at Alcorn! Can we get a 30 for 30?!
- We’ve actually tricked ourselves into thinking kids are just gonna stay at home all day long even when athletics is taken away from them. That’s just not reality. They are gonna burn that energy some kind of way, and it won’t be home in the yard alone.
- How can you call a kid, who grew up in the hood watching his mom struggle, selfish because he sits out one game to ensure he gets his family out of the hood? Spend a little time with that one meal a day and no heat in your house and see if you still have those same thoughts.
- Coaches, tread carefully when you ridicule a coach that has just been fired. It’s a devastating feeling when you’ve put your heart and soul into something and someone tells you it’s over. That phone call you have to make afterwards is even tougher. You’re always one day away.
- Today was absolutely the toughest day of my life. It was the first day that I’ve ever gone without my dad. God called him home yesterday morning, and I’m still working to get it together. That dude was my everything. Hug on your loved ones. Life is so precious. Love you, Pops…
- ESPN this is ridiculous!! The biggest night of this man’s life and this is what y’all choose to do?! Ridiculous!
- So happy for Coach Knox! Dude has been so good to me, and I’m a better coach because of him. Truly one of the good guys in the profession that never big times you. Too many coaches these days want your players but forget your name when they get them. He was as real as they come!
- Is paying your dues as a coach even a thing anymore? Just way too many coaches who coach for a few years and wanna be the DC/PE teacher w/ two blocks! Too many out here ready to be a HC but can’t fix a sprinkler head or line a field! Learn some dos and don’ts! Have some patience!
- The North Panola community needs your prayers! We lost a tremendous young man last night to a house fire. Jaylashun graduated last year and was a Bernard Blackwell All Star and an All State selection. He was truly an outstanding young man. Rest on, Jay! #FAM1LY
