- Pender currently leads Hobbton 106-83 with 1:21 to play, but it looks like the lights just went out. This is a NCHSAA record for combined points in a game. It was previously 151 by DH Conley and CB Aycock in 2016

- BREAKING: Trent Mongero (@CoachMongero) has been named the head baseball coach at Wilmington Christian Academy (@WCABaseball4). Mongero, who has 451 wins in 27 years as a head coach, spent last season as an assistant at WCA. His son, @TaberMongero2, will serve as assistant coach
