1/3 We applaud Prince Harry for speaking out about the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging others to seek support if they’re struggling. On average veterans wait 13 years before asking for help by which time their mental health problems have become severe.
In his Heart of Invictus docuseries released on Netflix on Wednesday, Harry said his "biggest struggle" was "no one around me could really help" trib.al/FrH01NW

1/2 On this day, we thank and remember all those members of the Forces – past and present - who have given so much to protect this nation during both World Wars and all conflicts since. We will always remember, and be grateful for, their selfless sacrifice.

Today MP Diane Abbott tweeted that Lt Gen David Leakey, who claims John Bercow "brutalised" staff, couldn't have felt bullied because he served in the military. We're extremely disappointed by this response and have issued our full statement online combatstress.org.uk/about-us/news/…

Armistice Day honours the day that First World War peace negotiations began. Today we remember, thank and recognise those who bravely fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice, alongside our thanks and respect to past and present Armed Forces members who continue to serve.
