I served on a jury once where it was obvious the guy was guilty on most counts. But on one count, myself and another juror thought the prosecution didn’t meet the standard. We convinced the others by pointing out that it’s vital for the government to prove the charges it makes.

Tbh I think Biden dropping out of the race is better now than something like 6 months ago. There are legitimate upsides to scrambling the Trump campaign strategy + less time to negatively define Kamala - all while Biden basks in positive press from “putting the country first.”
