A $25 Series EE savings bond purchased in 2011 would be worth $25 today. Series EE bonds are guaranteed to double in value after 20 years, meaning a $25 bond would be worth $50 at maturity. Since 2011 was 14 years ago, the bond has not yet reached its full maturity value.
