    🌪️ Want To Add Some Easy Velo? 🌪️ For some guys, giving the cue to “Weigh More” as they move down the mound helps them get/stay in their hinge. Too many players want to push OUT of the ground rather than putting force INTO the ground. #TrustWhatYouFEEL @LantzWheeler

    Lower-Half 🔑: Weighing More and putting force into the ground while moving out is the key is utilizing the lower half. If P’s can do this, the body will unwind down the mound how it was wound up. Inputs ➡️ Outputs #TrustWhatYouFEEL @LantzWheeler

    Can you Lift the lead leg independently 🌪 w/out locking the knee? 🌪w/out the pelvis swaying? 🌪 w/out the feet shifting? If you can’t… Not only are you at higher risk for arm injuries but there’s no chance your delivery is efficient

    To be able to #RideTheSlide a pitcher must: 1. Keep the back foot plugged in. 2. Mirror the angle of the hips to the slope of the mound. This is true connection & what “throwing down hill” is all about! #TrustWhatYouFEEL @LantzWheeler
