    “When I announced yesterday that I’m running for gov, one of Cuomo’s top surrogates dismissed me as an “unqualified lesbian.” It’s true that I never received my certificate from the Department of Lesbian Affairs, though in my defense there’s a lot of paperwork required.” 🤷‍♀️

    Now that public opinion has shifted on marijuana, rich white men like Boehner and companies like Monsanto are trying to cash in. We can’t let them rake in profits while thousands of people, mostly people of color, continue to sit in jail for possession and use.

    In 2016 I supported Hillary for President.   But this year, I’m all in for Bernie. His ideas are wildly popular, and he’s our best chance to beat Trump.  We can’t afford to nominate a candidate who will leave voters sitting at home, uninspired.
