I’ve seen too much on twitter about Andrew O’Keefe’s early celebration costing him a title and not enough on his incredible move that got him 2nd. Awesome race by he and Dylan. Andrew should be proud. 2nd in Illinois 1600 is doing something special!

- Unofficially, looks like we are moving on to state as SECTIONAL CHAMPS for first time in DGS history.
- Random thought... I love that my team is filled with competitors who were absolutely disgusted by those who reacted with cheers when hearing the meet was cancelled today. #stayhungry #peoriaherewecome
- So, not knowing what might happen with the rest of his senior track season... @TylerBleau62 decided to up his long run a bit today. Congrats on finishing a freaking marathon by yourself today! Tyler ran 26.22 in 3:10. #inspirational #borderingoninsanity #notrecommended
- Congrats to Jayden Lambert on his 47-8.5. PR and new school record for 3rd in State
- Not the day we hoped for, but could not be more proud of the 7 guys who gave it their all today. Not to mention the whole team that pushed each other to be their best every day. It was a historically great season for the Mustangs! #proudcoach
- Congrats to the Regional Champ and new school record holder for 3 miles. Tim Neumann took the race from start to finish to run 14:32 at Midlothian Meadows today!
- Congrats to Tim Neumann on the Regional Title. 1st one for DGS in at least last 14 years (ever???) Team ran great to place 3rd and advance to Sectionals.
- Beyond proud of these best friends. This group has come such a long way this season. Incredible 6th place today in the toughest Sectional in the state to punch our ticket to state. Best Friends are coming for Detweiler!!!
