- Seriously, the PM @ScottMorrisonMP can’t be bothered sending Victoria a message right now? WTF is the point of federation? Is he at home in his Sharkies gear hanging for the weekend footy?
- Dear @DanielAndrewsMP. You intend to spend $3 million taxpayer 💵 for a retired judge to look into the hotel quarantine errors. Instead I do it for free now. Untrained security guards bad idea. Apology accepted. Enquiry finished. Use the 3 million for public schools maybe? 👍
- If current AFL brains trust think $100k+ cost of tearing up strip of MCG turf and flying it to Gabba for GF is money well spent in this financial climate, they may have retrenched the wrong people.
- Every death is a tragedy but ‘Surge In Covid Deaths’ in last 24 hrs is wrong. 50 of those 59 deaths are from nursing homes and occurred July and August and strangely weren’t recorded as Covid related at time. The traumatised Vic public don’t need misleading headlines now.
- It’s time for @DanielAndrewsMP and crew to give up on managing hotel quarantine. @ScottMorrisonMP should take charge and bring in one national quarantine facility. Covid positive quarantine hotel workers bringing millions of people to a standstill is ridiculous.
- Non journalist Peta Credlin got to the truth by asking about phone records at Presser 99 on Friday. An idea a $6 million Inquiry hadn’t had. Dan Andrews right hand man has now resigned, after his phone call on the day in question has been exposed. Farcical. #COVID19Vic
- The same guy who commissioned this trophy for his desk was on radio today crying about another leader lacking humanity in relation to border control.
- Dan Andrews should take a well deserved break. I assume his colleagues are encouraging him to. Let someone else front the pressers. It doesn’t need to always be him. #COVID19Victoria
- Should be one entry point and quarantine facility in Australia for o/s returnees. Workers and airline staff housed there as well. No one leaves facility without assurance they are covid free. State based method involving constant border closures and lockdowns is ridiculous.
- If you are only allowing 20% spectator capacity cos you fear Covid spread, why are you jamming them all together. Wouldn’t you space them out? Most of the ground is empty. Where’s the logic? I know it costs more to open more stands but I thought it’s about health? #AFLCatsDogs
